He-Xu northern section of G3 Beijing-Taipei Expressway (the former Hexubei Expressway) starts from Bengbu Tushan Huaihe River Bridge in the south, connects with the southern section of Hexu Expressway, reaches the national highway main line from Lianyungang to Horguosi Highway in the north, and joins with the Lian-Huo Expressway at the Zhuyuzi Hub in Xiao County. The route runs through Huaiyuan County of Bengbu, Yongqiao District of Suzhou, Suixi County of Huaibei and Xiao County of Suzhou, spanning three provincial cities and four counties or districts. The 165-km route was completed and dredgedon December 18, 2003. It is a part of G3 Beijing-Taiwan Expressway and an important section of the north-south expressway of Anhui Province. After xu north expressway dredged, the trunk highway of Anhui has been fully completed, The expressway have a good command of east-west, north-south of Anhui Province, even Lianhuo, Jiefubeng,the southern section of He-Xu , He-Ning, He-Chao-Wu, He-An, Gaojie expressway networking, a comprehensive road network more complete wanbei and the distance of time and space of the provincial capital of hefei and the region in the south of anhui province greatly shortened.
